"OF TWO HEROS, HE IS THE GREATEST
WHO ESTEEMS HIS RIVALS MOST"

Name: MOH_SARGE
Favorite Aircraft: F6F Hellcat
Timezone: Central
Hometown: Chicago, USA
Languages understood: English
Age: 24

The Japanese pilot grabbed his Nambu pistol. The face of a determined MOH_SARGE at less than 10 meters from his own was more than he could tolerate. The Japanese pilot's efforts were for naught however, as a motionless J2M3 Jack and a checker tailed F6F Hellcat, both stalled in the vertical, gently fell away from each other and back towards the sea. Nosed towards earth, both aircraft accelerated rapidly with gravities aid.

Pulling hard on the Hellcat’s stick, and with G-forces wracking his body, MOH_SARGE reversed his machine and again climbed into the cloudless Russian sky. “Where is that JAP!!? MOH_SARGE asked himself, “where is the bastard!!?” He could feel beads of sweat trickling down his neck and down his back from beneath his brown leather flying helmet. MOH_SARGE knew that every second counted, that he must latch on or evade his foe, and that the life of one or both of them now hung in the balance.

“Dive” MOH_SARGE mumbled to himself, “Dive”, “the Japanese kite cannot stay with me in the dive!!”. With that thought, MOH_SARGE, flipped his Hellcat over and pulled the stick into his belly. His aircraft streaked earthward. Shuddering under the increasing strain of the dive, the Hellcat responded as MOH_SARGE commanded. Side slipping his aircraft to port, MOH_SARGE located the "Jack" struggling to stay with him. “Fool” thought MOH_SARGE “this devil has not done his homework”. Meter by meter, MOH_SARGE extended, then levelled out and reversed. The Japanese pilot clumsily pulled out of his dive and struggled to stay with the Hellcat. SARGE turned inside the arc of his foe. A veteran of numerous deadly dogfights, SARGE had been here before. He knew it was only a matter of time……….

As the fates of the two pilots merged, MOH_SARGE watched amazed as the ruddy faced J2M3 Jack pilot snapped his head around to find the Hellcat on his six. Entirely too late, his foe realized that MOH_SARGE was no rookie but one of the greatest American ACES of them all. His fate all but sealed, the Japanese pilot gawked helplessly as his pursuers 5 x 50BMG winked impassively at him.

MOH_SARGE watched as his rounds impacted. Large chunks of tail section and the port wing of the JACK sheared from the fuselage and broke apart causing the Japanese aircraft to cascade out of control. Spiraling vertically, the stricken aircraft careened into the Phillipine Sea.
