Questions about Jesus
Jesus is the son of God, the messiah (the savior of all
souls), the light of the world. He was born to the virgin Mary, lived a
sinless life, ministered throughout Palestine for three years, was crucified and
then rose from the dead three days later. He performed many miracles,
healed the sick, forgave the sins of man, and ministered unto many. In
fact, the gospel of Saint John (21:25), says "And there are also many other
things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I
suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be
written. Amen."
Jesus came and shed his blood for the remission of all
sins, that you might have life and have it more abundantly. He came so
that all men would be redeemed before God the father and found innocent of their
offences against almighty God. He paid the ultimate price by giving his
own life so that we could gain eternal life. For the word says in Mark
8:36 (KJV) For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and
lose his own soul?
