Questions about Salvation

What is Salvation?

Salvation is what Jesus gives us as a gift, if we believe he died on the cross, rose from the dead on the third day, and ascended to the right hand of God the father.

Romans 1:16 (KJV)
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Romans 10:10 (KJV)
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

What must I do to be saved?

To be saved, all you have to do is confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord and that God has raised him from the dead.

Romans 10:9 (KJV)
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

John 3:17 (KJV)
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

John 10:9 (KJV)
I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
