Miami City Cemetery; City of Broken Angels
Welcome to Miami Florida, chartered as a City in 1897.
This is the first formal Cemetery that recieved numerous informal burials before this date. All photos and opinions are strictly my own and no one elses. My name is Mike.
After Six years of hard volunteer work, just a brief sampling of the many projects I have completed are included here.
An example of the many markers I have carved in my girlfriends backyard, (boy was she pleased).
Some of the many Veterans of the War Between the States I have Identifyed, researched, and ordered stones for these completely unmarked and forgotten Heros.
Angels Repose, a monument I commissioned and installed for 28 unmarked and forgotten infants and small children.
National Histroic Registery of Historic Places plaque and a Florida State Historic Registry sign and History.
Co-Designation of 18th Street to "City Cemetery Drive."
