Tom is very aggressive, and sometimes has the least common sense out of the bunch. Tom knows where all the trap doors are, every scripted event, but after the malfunction... Tom has to play the game the way its meant to be played out...

How does it feel to play as Tom Paris?
    --"It's like all my Christmases come at once! Like Easter eggs in the pantry! Like weasels down my pants in the traditional Nordish celebration of the new year! Well, maybe not quite that exciting, but it's certainly fun. I actually rather wish there were more lines in the 'CAPTAIN PROTON!' voice though; since doing Tom Paris' voice is basically just my normal voice deepened to the point where it sounds more 'brash and manly'. I'm not used to playing a 'normal' hero at all.... If you can call a helm officer of an intergalactic starship who spends his spare time playing make believe in 1930s sci-fi serials, 'normal'. Which you can't. Oh, nevermind."
