The latest photo of our new house in Bothwell,
taken in early February, 2006.
I took this photo when I was in Bothwell
receiving two container loads of furniture etc.
Unfortunately, the house was not ready to be moved into at the time,
and we had to postpone our move.
It is the first day of May, and I am sitting in our house at Springwood
waiting for prospective buyers to arrive in 10 minutes - very exciting!
The house has been on the market for just over 2 weeks, and we have had
no firm offers as yet.
Julie, Yanicke and Cole have been living in
Bothwell for a month now, in a house that isn't quite finished, and it
is a bit frustrating for them.
I traveled down with our three cats two days after they arrived,
and spent a week with them settling in - kind of.
Since then I have spent a week here in Springwood getting the house
ready for sale, another week in Bothwell, and now back here again.
On Friday, 5 May, I will drive our car - towing a trailer full of the
rest of our "stuff" - down to Sydney, catch the ferry to Tasmania,
and thus make the final move to our new home.

21 November, 2005:
Yanicke has just completed her double degree
at Queensland University of Technology, Law and International Business.
She had her final exam last week, and she felt it went very well!
Now she has lots of time for Cole, at least for a while.

Netherfield House, 38 Patrick St, Bothwell
Julie and I visited the
building site in October.
We also joined the builder on a tour of shops in Hobart to choose
fittings for the house.
Now we have a feeling of how nice our new home really will be when
completed!
Completion date is not set at present, but we plan to move early/middle
January, even if everything isn't quite finished yet.
