Walk With Me in Love
by: Susan Polis Schutz
Walk with me in love
Talk to me about what you cannot say to others
Laugh with me even when you feel silly
Cry with me when you are most upset
Plan with me all your dreams
Share with me all the beautiful things in life
Fight with me against all the ugly things in life
Create with me dreams to follow
Have fun with me in whatever we do
Work with me towards common goals
Dance with me to the rhythm of our love
Walk with me throughout life
Let us hug each other
at every step in our journey
Forever
In
Love

Sonnets from the Portuguese
by: Elizabeth Barrett Browning
Published 1850
XLIII
How do I love thee ? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of everyday's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love thee with the passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints,--I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life !--and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.

Love Despised
by Dr. Henry Hughes
In love? Away, you do me wrong.
I hope I ha'not live so long
Free from the treachery of your eyes
Now to be caught and made a prize.
No, lady, 'tis not all your art
Can make me and my freedom part.
In love? 'Tis true, with Spanish wine
Or the French juice incarnadine,
But truly not with your sweet face,
This dimple or that hidden grace.
There's far more sweetness in pure wine
Than in those lips or eyes of thine.
Your god, you say, can shoot so right
He'll wound a heart i'th' darkest night.
Pray let him throw away a dart
And try if he can hit my heart.
No, Cupid, if I shall be thine,
Turn Ganymede and fill us wine.

She, to Him
by Thomas Hardy (1840-1928)
Perhaps, long hence, when I have pass'd away,
Some other's feature, accent, thought like mine,
Will carry you back to what I used to say,
And bring some memory of your love's decline.
Then you may pause awhile and think, 'Poor jade!'
And yield a sigh to me--as ample due,
Not as the tittle of a debt unpaid
To one who could resign her all to you--
And thus reflecting, you will never see
That your thin thought, in two small words convey'd,
Was no such fleeting phantom-thought to me,
But the Whole Life wherin my part was play'd;
And you amid its fitful masquerade
A Thought--as I in yours but seem to be.

I Love You
by Angel Baby
I never really knew you
You were just another friend
But when I got to know you,
I let my heart unbend.
I couldn't help past memories
that would only make me cry
I had to forget my first love
and give love another try
So I've fallen in love with you
and I'll never let you go
I love you more than anyone
I just had to let you know
And if you ever wonder why
I don't know what I'll say
But I'll never stop loving you
each and every day
My feelings for you will never change
Just know my feelings are true
Just remember one thing
I Love You!

Loving You
by Tera Nickell
Putting my feelings into words -
Impossible.
For my feelings for you are
Incomprehensible.
If I could let you see the effect you have on me,
You would be blinded.
For if you did the darkness would fade,
Shadows were no longer.
For I am in love,
More in love then I have been for a long time.
I love you is all I can say,
But my heart says more,
There is much more to my love,
Dreams, Hopes, Fantasies,
That all can become realities.
For with you I am a new me,
A me that shouldn't leave.
In these few words I hope you see,
How much you mean to me.
In Life, Love and Spirit,
I want you to hear it,
I Love You!

Blame It On Your Confusion
by Lilttle Ber
Confusion,
The state of mind I'm often in.
In and out of it so sudden.
Confused by the things I thought I knew.
Confused because I'm in love with you.
I don't know how I got here,
I don't know how long I'll stay.
But soon enough I'll be on my way.
In love with a player.
In love with the game.
In love, your so charming.
In love and to blame.
Confused why I let my self.
Confused this can't be me.
Confused by the fact that I'm in love with someone who will never love
me.
Confused with the tears.
I never let fall.
Confused because I gave you them all.
I never thought I'd be here.
I can't wait to leave.
I'm in love and hurting and you don't see.
Love is a confusion its a game.
When you get here there's nobody to blame.
Except your confusion!

I Want You Back
by Jessica Kronaizl
you were always there for me
always by my side
I guess I couldn't see
with out you I just can't abide
those times I loved the most
were just talking with you
who would've known
now I'm all alone
and all I can do is think of you
I loved it when you held me
all safe and warm
I felt no harm could touch me
in your strong protecting arms
but then I messed up
I really don't know why
with you I broke up
and now I am sorry
all I want, is a second chance
I understand that's not easy to do
even if you won't give me a glance
I want you to know,
I'll always love you

When You Love Someone
by Preppie
When you love someone so deep inside,
It seems like it's so easy to hide.
You've loved him for so very long,
You would think he could do no wrong.
Every day you would hope and pray,
That he would always stay this way.
He treated you like you should be treated,
You thought your life was finally completed.
You thought your love was growing true,
And then one day it was all so blue.
He started putting you down and it hurt,
You thought all you were to him was dirt.
He started ignoring you and you wondered why,
All you wanted to do was curl up and die.
You thought your relationship would never end,
But that was all so fake and pretend.
One night he was so sweet to you,
You thought all those things were maybe untrue,
Two days later he was back the same,
You thought you were the one to blame.
He thought the relationship was getting too serious
And that you had become a little too curious.
By this time you knew it wouldn't last,
All the nice things he said were in the past.
You thought that you would marry him some day,
But this time God wanted to get his way.
You wanted things back how they were before,
But you knew this couldn't happen anymore.
It was a Saturday night about ten o'clock,
You heard the news and it wasn't a shock.
You knew this was going to happen soon,
As you laid there and cried in the pale lit moon.
