Syllabus

Course Description

Classes are designed to hit the highlights of simming in the Independence Fleet, by learning the basics of posting and interacting in a fiction/roleplaying environment. They are created and delivered by the classes instructors as they see fit.

Objectives

The Recruit course will focus on:

Creating a character and establishing a bio that reflects that character accurately.
How to introduce your character.
Learn the basics of posting.
Cover both novel and script style posting.
How to do Joint Posts.
Help the simmer ship position in the ID Fleet.

Advanced Objectives for future captains

How to recruit
Help on effeciently running a sim
How to motivate others to become more mature authors and simmers

Assignments

One assignment will be due each week. It should be submitted to your instructor.
