IDF Introduces its First Simming AcademyThe Independence Fleet
Academy is a Star Trek play by email game that strives to teach the
fundamentals of role playing in a group setting. The purpose of this
academy is to help introduce newcomers to the world of interactive
fiction/roleplaying by learning; how to post, the basics of posting,
and both posting styles. It would also attempt to make young and new
authors reach a standard that would allow them to join a Sim
seamlessly. It is expected that future Captains would attend the
Academy to learn how to recruit and run a sim as well as how to
motivate others to become more mature authors and simmers.
This academy is PG13.
