Scrambles in the Canadian Rockies

Scrambles in the Canadian Rockies is simply the only book you should get if you are an avid scrambler. Alan Kane puts in this book 156 peaks which range from hikes to demanding full or even multiday commitments. On many of the scrambles I have done, I have used this book. It covers the area from Waterton National Park in the South to just North of Jasper. Many of the elevations and trip distances mentioned on this site were taken from this book, and it is a must for any avid scrambler. back to guidebooks page
