My Dearest Douglas Aaron,
Take my hand and step back in time with me. As I look at the laptop computer
beside me, I am transported to that incredible moment when your loving fingers
typed the message that would forever change my life. I can't imagine everything
you were thinking as you waited for my response... nervousness..... apprehension...
perhaps even excitement. There was something about you, even in the very beginning,
that made me instinctively trust you more than I normally would trust anyone.
We have come along way since then my Love. Most of it has been heaven... some of it
has felt like hell. But, the important thing... we've come through it together.
You fill so many needs in my life. You are a gentle tender spirit. You are a strong
silent rock. You are an aggressive passionate lover. You are a patient understanding
teacher. You are also a stubborn obstinate Okie, but we can discuss that at a later date.
