tried to include captions to explain where the pictures where taken.

Lost in Montreal. |
Carla and I got lost in Montreal. We stopped here to show how hopeless the situation was. We couldn't find a hotel to spend the night either! |

St. Joseph's Oratory in Montreal. |
An absolutely *huge* church. I didn't have time to go in because of the bus tour we were on only stopped here for a few minutes. I would have taken a lot longer to climb the 100 steps up. (esp. in the middle section which people climbed up on their knees!). |

Omnimax Cinema |
the Omnimax cinema features an almost full 180 degree curve. This means that movies displayed on the curved screen emerse the viewer in their world. Most movies that play at the Omnimax are documentaries, with gorgeous scenary. Only drawback is that if you don't have great vision (like me) you can get a headache from the size and resolution of the screen. |

My first day at IBM. |
Here I'm photographed with the group of new recruits starting on the same day. Our first week was spent in the main office taking a course on being ideal IBM employees! :-) At the main office, the dress code is business casual or business which is why most of us look dressed up. At the IBM Toronto Lab where I actually work everyday, the dress code is casual or at the most business casual for meeting clients. So most people wear jeans and T-shirt there. |
