De Uilenes offers you an ideal getaway. It is situated on the
farm Uilkraal in the Strandveld, an area known for it's beautiful scenery and
the hospitality of it's people. About half an hour's drive from Hermanus, you
will find yourself close to this popular tourist destination - without being
caught in the rush.
De Uilenes can accommodate groups of up to 40 people at very affordable

Fynbos found in the area. Your hosts Aletta and Niel Groenewald has taken the
initiative to provide tractor rides in the
mountain. The route takes you to the top of the mountain with a lovely view of
the coast line. Aletta is a registered tour guide and with an extensive
knowledge of Fynbos and her enthusiasm is bound to rub off.
During your visit to De Uilenes, you will also have the
opportunity to go whale watching in Hermanus or white shark cage diving in
Kleinbaai. You can embark on the African Queen river cruise or join a kayaking
expedition on the Kleinrivier at Stanford. So whether you are looking for a
