European Highlights Begins!

It's 6:00AM July 4th, 2001. In a cold London morning the best two weeks of my life beging. I was not expecting what was in store for me in the next two weeks. UK, France, Monaco, Italy, Vatican, Austria, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium with a group of 51 perfect strangers. The first few hours went by like they usually do everyone quite and very shy. By the time we went touched French soil it all changed. Very quickly we all got to know eachother and got very used to 'Coach 413', our new home.

After a few rest stops and a few hours to our record, we arrived at Paris. The Paris Camp was our intro to our new Contiki way of living. "Dishies" and "Cookies" were assigned and the we were all very happy to know we had the pub a few steps away. After some Champagne and snail, we headed for our night tour of Paris.

On the tour we saw evrything that makes Paris on eof the most beautiful cities in the wolrd. The Louvre Museum, Place de la Concorde, Champs-Elysees, Arch de Triomphe (a motorist worst nightmare) and the beautiful Notre Dame Cathedral in the Ile de la Cite. What an amazing city every street was a picture waiting to be taken.
