New Teacher's Start Up Aids

This year, I was a mentor to several new teachers in our school district. These new teachers often didn't know where to start looking for ideas for resources that would support the lessons they had to teach. As I worked with them, I discovered many valuable resources on the internet that would make their job easier.
I discovered wonderful lesson plans, rubrics and bulletin board ideas sent in by experienced teachers that can be used to guide a new teacher during the challenging first few years of teaching.
Teachers become better teachers because of master teachers who have shared their knowledge from their own teaching experiences. The collection of sites on this page contains just a sampling of ideas shared by these teachers and other professionals who were willing to share their ideas.
