The Origin Of The Chinese Zodiac
According to Chinese legend, long, long ago Buddha summoned all of the animals of his kingdom. As a reward to the animals that answered his summons he chose to honour them. So he named a year for each of the animals. In turn the animal gave it’s characteristics to people born in its year.
How To Find Your Sign
Look for the year you were born. The animal corresponding to that year is your Chinese Zodiac. If you were born between January 1st and the Chinese New Year (February 12), consider yourself part of the preceding year. Find out what the Chinese think of you! Enjoy!
