I got into dolls by Neopets. I saw these cute little dolls in peoples shops so I decided to see what they were all about. I somehow found drag & drops and started with Palace type dolls. I made my first site early 1999 using Xoom.com (which is no longer) and using some easy editor. The name of the site was "Lauren's Dollz". Not very creative, eh? I stopped dolling for about a year, and made a page on the Animorphs series and a biography on Cleopatra VII. For some reason or another, I got back into dolling but started making silents, mommyz, minis, and normal ole' preps. I used a "z" instead of an "s" for everything back then. That was around mid 2000. Again I used some editor. I didn't even use an easy editor like Homestead and Geocities have. At that time, the name of the site was "Moo Cows Dollz". I decided to move to Homestead but had the same name, same everything. Once Homestead decided to be stupid and charge, I moved to geocities. I was determined to learn basic HTML so I went to places like Funky-Chickens. This was around late 2000. I changed my name to "Sarcastic Blue Bunny and Friends". At that time, I didn't make my own layouts. I used pre-made layouts. I had a ton. Almost every week I changed layouts. (Nowadays I change about every month ^_~) I still wasn't making hand-drawn dolls. I had just silents at that time because they were my favorites. They still are my favorite Palace type doll. I had discovered Josie's site but still didn't know what the heck basebodies and hand-drawn dolls were about. I was off dolling from early to mid 2001. During that period, I made very crappy layouts. Very crappy. Mid 2001 I decided to make unique hand-drawn dolls. After, I saw tutorials on shading and all that stuff, and used MS Paint. To this day I still use MS Paint. I make my doll in MS Paint and add effects to it in Adobe Photoshop 7.0. I am very pleased to say that I seem to be improving greatly. During the course of 1999 to 2002, I've changed my site's name 6 times. After I moved from Homestead to Geocities, I stayed there quite a while. I moved to Angelfire July 23rd, 2002. Since I don't exactly know when I started making dolls, I'll just say I started middle-December 2001. I've been dolling for about two years. I found my very first doll the other day in some lost folder on my grandma's computer.
