-August 8, 2002: I know this isn't much right now, but it is my first website. Besides, the main point of the site is to show off my pictures, not to display my web page making skills (or lack there of). So as I get a little more proficient with HTML, I will be adding more and more to my site. For now, this first set of pictures is all I have. These pictures were taken on a week long backpacking trip I do every summer with my old boy scout troop. This year we went to the Ansel Adams Wilderness in the Sierra Nevadas. As usual, we had our struggles trying to get under way, but by the third day we all were set in our routines and were able to enjoy the beautiful scenery around us. Unfortunately there was a wildfire south of us, so it created very hazy conditions which wasn't great of taking pictures. So these pictures are the best 30 of the 60+ pictures I took over the course of the week. Let me know what you think! - September 1, 2002 The first thing I have to say is that the Oakland A's are the best team in the world (They've won 19 straight games for you uneducated people :-)). Second of all, I have added a page of pictures that I took on my University of Puget Sound orientation backpacking trip. The conditions were again a little hazy, but there are some pictures that I am proud of. On another note, only one person has signed my guestbook and she didn't write any comments, so please give me some feedback. Oh yeah, and sometime soon I will be updating this page with the pictures from my Spring Break trip to Bryce and Zion National Parks in Southern Utah.
