The little cat above appeared in our lives (and our home) mysteriously
for a while. He wasn't ours - but it wasn't any use telling him that.
After a while he disappeared as suddenly as he came - who knows where.
I suspect he has let himself in through the cat flap in the pearly
gates and made himself at home in the courts of heaven - but here he is
making himself at home in my hanging basket.
Whoever
wrote, "Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by
doing so some have entertained angels unawares"
(Hebrews 13.2) hadn't met this moggy, who forced those who met him to
re-evaluate their angelology. I haven't worked out what message he
brought from God , except perhaps that we should all chill out and
relax a little more!
I
hope you feel as welcome in this website as little cat did with us!
My name is Anne Le Bas (despite what you might assume from the address
of the website, which was built before my recent marriage to Philip Le
Bas, a bassoon playing physics teacher (his bassoon reed making site is here.)
Pictures of the happy event are here. I
am the priest in charge of St
Peter and St Paul, Seal, near Sevenoaks. There's more about me
here if
you are interested.
