Ghost Whisperer

My name is Melinda Gordon. I'm married, I live in a small town, and I own an antique shop. I might be just like you, except from the time I was a little girl, I knew I could talk to the dead - earthbound spirits my grandmother called them. Their stuck here because they have unfinished business with the living, and they come to me for help. In order to tell you my story, I have to tell you theirs.

The above is the introduction to the CBS-TV series Ghost Whisperer, which is about a woman, Melinda Gordon, who can communicate with the dead. In each episode, Melinda helps a spirit or spirits deal with unfinished business here on earth, and helps these spirits crossover into the light when their business is finished.

• Professor Rick Payne (Seen in episodes 23 - 63)(a college professor at a nearby college who is an expert in occult beliefs and history)(played by Jay Mohr).
  
• Professor Eli James (Seen in episode 63 - onward)(a college psychology professor at a nearby college who, after a near death experience, can now hear ghosts)(played by Jamie Kennedy).
  
• Aiden Lucas (Seen in episode 86 - onward)(Melinda and Jim's son)(played by Connor Gibbs).
