Mike Cutler, a former senior special agent with the U.S.
Immigration and Naturalization Service and an adviser for Family
Security Measures, estimates some 2,158 murders are committed every year by illegal aliens in the United States.
Here are some statistics that bear out this report:
Ninety-five percent of warrants for murder in Los Angeles, Calif. are
for illegal aliens.
Eighty-three percent of warrants for murder in Phoenix, Ariz. are for
illegal aliens.
Eighty-six percent of warrants for murder in Albuquerque, N.M., are for
illegal aliens.
Seventy-five percent of people on the "Most Wanted" list in Los
Angeles, Phoenix, and Albuquerque are illegal aliens.
Twenty-five percent of all inmates in California detention centers are
Mexican nationals who are here illegally.
Forty percent of all inmates in Arizona detention centers are Mexican
nationals here illegally.
Forty-eight percent of all inmates in New Mexico detention centers are
Mexican nationals here illegally.
Twenty-nine percent (630,000) convicted illegal alien felons occupy our
state and federal prisons at a cost of $1.6 billion annually.
More than 53 percent of burglaries in California, New Mexico, Nevada,
Arizona, and Texas are perpetrated by illegal aliens.
More than half of all gang members in Los Angeles are illegal aliens
from south of the border.
More than 70 percent of all cars stolen in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona,
Nevada, and California are stolen by illegals.
Forty-seven percent of drivers stopped by police in California have no
license, insurance, or registration; and of that 47 percent, 92 percent
are illegal aliens.
Sixty-three percent of stopped drivers in Arizona have no license,
insurance, or registration for the vehicle. Of that 63 percent, 97 percent
are illegal aliens.
Sixty-six percent of stopped drivers in New Mexico have no license,
insurance, or registration; and of that 66 percent, 98 percent are
illegals.
A recent study by Pew Hispanic Center reveals Hispanics are two times
more likely to be incarcerated than non-Hispanics.
They are 3.8 times more likely to be imprisoned for murder than

There are currently 15 to 20 million illegal aliens in this country by many estimates, but the real numbers could be much
higher and the numbers increase every day. Now if you calculate
that maybe 1% are bad apples, as with the rest of the American
population, the would mean 200,000 bad apples. They can cause a
lot of crime and misery. But that leaves 19,800,000 productive
immigrants. They contribute to American society. So I do not think that the picture is so glum. Coyote, Yuma, Arizona.

I live near the border with Mexico on a horse ranch. At least twice a week my brothers have to run off illegal aliens hiding in
our barn and horse stable. My brothers are nice to them and point
the way to Los Angeles, where they want to go. So far no one has
pulled a gun on them or have gotten violent. But, now I worry about it. Sweetpea, California

Productive Illegal aliens? They are still here illegally and should be sent back to wherever they came from. I am not against
immigration, in fact all of us came here that way. But, these people sneak across our border and come into our country to get
away from a government that doesn't help its own people. Maybe if
they all stayed there, the Mexican government would have to deal

Diane, do you think that the word "illegal Alien" is synonymous
with Hispanic? I see the many faces of immigrant's in every corner of our society, willing to WORK…. Cheap! I also see many
faces of AMERICANS (Healthy Americans)asking for a hand out. A
free handout! and NOT willing to do anything for it! I agree that
there are many Illegals (and I mean people of Middle Eastern, Asian ,African and not just Mexican descent)that are caught committing crimes and fraudulently making claims on our
system....like say, for instance....Americans? I see many people
committing crimes and they aren’t all Mexicans. I read a book, Traitors: The Worst Act of Treason in American History from Benedict Arnold to Robert Hans. none of the names were of
Hispanic or Middle Eastern descent. I have a heart and realize
that even though Pedro doesn’t belong here, his 2 year old kid is
sick and needs a doctor, my taxes pay enough to crooked politicians so why not help a family in need. My Pastor tells me

I have a heart, but I also have a brain. What does the word illegal mean anyway. They are breaking the law no matter what nationality they are,. If they sneak across the border they are

Well I'm glad you have a brain, but unless we use it, it
only gathers narrow thoughts. Breaking the law? Everyone wants
cheap labor and illegals provide it. Industry uses it and looks
for it! We should go after them. I never hear farmers complaining
about “illegals”, KATRINA sent many families away from home, instead of makeshift housing and free debit cards, we should have
used that good ole’ American workforce and used them instead of
Illegals, do you wonder why that work force wasn’t tapped? What
about the millions on welfare? Why isn’t that workforce tapped?
THEY WONT DO IT! America needs to pick its battles. These
“bad,bad Mexicans” have never tried to bomb anything in the U.S.
only work its labor no one wants. Immigration, legal or Illegal,
will exist every day of our lives. We will NEVER solve it. so we
need to take into account the lesser of the many evils. Come on
now, American industry would rather outsource any well paying
jobs to India, China etc. low paying jobs will be given to
illegals, AC DELCO did it, DELL, VERIZON, NIKE, ALL the fast food
industry and no one seems to care. Now that puts a lot of good
Americans out of work. No one seems to notice, so the American
people ignorantly pick the quiet voice no one will listen to and
blame them for high taxes,high crime and whats next? being
overweight? Little American Billy and Suzy would rather drink and
be free spirits than study in school. Is it any wonder that
America is losing its edge. Us parents better wake up and take
back our kids by turning off that TV and make our kids read a
book instead… then, place fault where it belongs and not on some
guy trying to make a living doing a job some misguided American

I know America has a lot of problems. But, shouldn't the Mexican
government do something to help their own people instead of giving the burden to us. Like I said before living close to the
border I see first hand the people coming across the border sleeping on our ranch on their way to Los Angeles. They all look so helpless. Doesn't their own government care for them? Sweetpea, California

you are a law abiding citizen. Illegal aliens are not, they have

You know this is like arguing with a senseless kid, can't you
think of nothing else than to resort to insults? I’ve addressed a lot
of points that are ruining this country and Mr. Gallo seems to only
want to keep saying “Illegal..Illegal” like a cheap parrot.

Doesn’t anyone care about the future of American kids? Its only a
matter of time before we all start speaking some foreign language and

As far as Sweatpea, NO the Mexican Govt does not care about their own
people and would rather send them here so they can send money home and
contribute to the Mexican economy. As a matter fact when nationals
from other countries travel through Mexico to come to the U.S. , they are
NOT treated medically at all. But I don’t care about that because I
can.t do anything about it. The U.S. Govt would rather see their people
here because America cant work the hours or is willing to. We’ve
become lazy. Are ALL Americans that way? NO , but it seems to more common.
Many Contractors hire Illegals….why? because they like the natural
tan?? Ha! because they work hard and don’t complain. No union, no
lawyers, no problem. The Farmers are NOT complaining, you want to pay more
for! lettuce? Think housing, autos,fruit,as a matter of fact, where do you
think we but our fruit from when the crops here can't be picked because
the "Gallos" are whining in an election year? It's from MEXICO….
ha! unless you make a lot of money, which most of the American people

Put your kid to work in a no skill job like cherry picking, lettuce

and I now make a very good salary, yes, I pay a lot of taxes and thank you
America for the education I have. I am not advocating that we open the
borders and let everyone come in , but they are and they are doing what
