Very casual on the beach, please bring your own beach chairs, some chairs will be supplied.  There will be a ceremony where you give something to Lee and throw into the fire; it could be a note or an item.

Please go to this site for a map:
Go to Chumash Village Project (where ceremony will happen.)
There are pictures of the site along with an arial map (I can not locate a street address!)  There are also some photos of Mati Waiya, who will be leading the ceremony.

Obituary for Delphos Lee Ettleman

In Loving Memory of Delphos Lee Ettleman  (known as Lee)
Born:  April 26, 1933     Died:  November 20, 2007

Lee was an extraordinary machinist by trade, earning an Emmy and a Golden Globe award while performing his machinist's magic in the post production world.  Early in his life he owned a surf /scuba diving shop and boat excursion business.  He was a motorcycle and car enthusiast.  He had a life full of many interesting experiences but the experiences that he treasured most were that of a son, father, and husband.  He had many impressive accomplishments throughout his life but what mattered most to him were the relationships that he had with his family.  Lee was a good and decent man who will be deeply missed by all who loved him.

Wife: Barbara Beaton Ettleman.   Children:  Debbie Bennett, Robert Ettleman, Jeff Ettleman, Jon Ettleman, Bill McLellan, Belinda McLellan, Betsy Mote, Tessie Kelly, Johanna Coberly.  Grandchildren: Brian & Casey Bennett, Erik & Kyle Ettleman, Johnny & Shaina Mote, Zack Zimmerman, Alexandra, Jayke & Aiden Coberly.
