Part 2...
well, i'm back again, i forgot to add something in yesterday...

while we were at the bar, eating dinner, they put on 80s music i think, and teh first song was "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" I thought that was hilarious!!

anyways... day 2

I woke up 2 times, first time about 7:30 *ugh* and then again at 8:30 *that's better* ... then i ate breakfast, they only had mango juice to drink, and it was actually good. Yay for me going outside of my norms!! we left the pousada at 9 withe this guy to take us to a farm, and guess what he picked us up in... no, you won't get off easy now... yeah, you guessed it!! A white dune buggy!!! HAHA!!! it was hilarious! so, we went to the beach, it was deserted, except for this guy that lives there... then we went back to the main house and rode horses and rode in a bull cart... the horses didn't want to go away from the barn, they thought they were going to get put up... OH, and while we were on the way over there, they guy went through some buffalo crap, i think, and then it went flying over the windshield and landed in Joseph's lap!! that was SO funny!!! well, then we had this snack and went around town some... we stopped at this tanner frist and joseph got a leathered buffalo testicle sac!! i still laugh about it.. but what was funnier, to me atleast, were the purses!!! How romantic!! (Happy Birthday hunny, here's a buffalo testical sac purse for you!!) then we stoped at this ceramic hut.. the owners were restoring an ancient, almost-lost art they way the idinas originally did it.. it was interesting. They eve had clay tampa-sexo... the indian equivilent of ... panties, i guess... LOL!! it's this triangle that's bent down at the bottom... the virgin one's is painted... the other ones are plain... interesting history lesson over, now on to lunch!! :D i had this shrimp omelette for lunch, pretty good, there was this weird fruit or vegetable in it.. :S oh well... then we went to another farm, this time our ride was a car *phew* LOL!! we picked up this frail, old lady that reminded me of my mamaw, mainly in build... well, she turns out to be the owner of the farm... it was one BIG farm!! we rode buffalo then had a history lesson in this personal chapel that's on the farm, it was pretty cool... except that the guide seemed a little one the *Hmmm hmmm* side... :S oh well... then we had this snack, first bread with Arabian cheese *eww* then something else, then a tostada with more Arabian cheese and two different jellies... that one was better!! then we walked to this flooded field and that was cool, except that Shona and Weston were trying to get me dirty the whole time... *grrrr* oh well... we went back to the hotel and then ate at the same place as the last night, i had pizza that time... :D!!! it was good... then when we got back to the hotel, me and dad played cards again, but tonight there was a black-out and i think i was ahead, point-wise... we were both on eth same phase (phase 10) ... so i just went to sleep

Day 3-
I woke up like 10 times *ugh* *grrrr* i need my sleep!! especially on vacation... and i woke up with a stuffed-up ear ... GRR!!!and today it wouldn't clear out... well... we ate breakfast and went to this one last farm, in teh Kombi this time... this French girl, Celina (i don't know if i spelled that right...) and then got there and looked around and then the last member of our "party of five" was there, a guy from Barcelona... he seemed to be hitting on the french girl the whole time... sera que ela vai conhecer l'amour espanhola?? hehe whatever, j/k... then we walked... down this muddy trail, then go on he canoe, we went upstream, towards the bay for about 30 minutes, and heard some birds... then we got to "Boca da Gloria" where the igarape meets with the bay... it was so.. big!! we went through the mangue and saw a TON of crabs!!! it was cool... i even heard some hawks screaming... well, we got of the boat, after running into some fallen branches that almost knocked some of us off... :S then we went on this bridge made out of acai truncks, and it was sturday, despite the look of it... then we got to another beach, and i saw a hawk up close, it was awsome!! i didn't have any film in the camera, so i didn't get a picture... then we walked back to the hotel and got VERY wet and muddy!! well, we paid and left... we, i should say FLEW back to the hotel, dad was going REALLY fast!!! when we got there, i took a water shower, without soap and all, but i got sorta clean and into new clothes... then we checked out in record time, lol, and got to the ferry, early!! YAY!!! this lady asked for a ride... but nope... we got to the other ferry an hour and a half early.. :S LONG wait!!! i talked with Olivia some, she's funny!! then i listened to music... we finally boarded and took off... i talked and felt the non-salty air in my face... then i slept and then listened to music, and about 7, i think, i found out we had a broken engine and that our speed was cut down by 2/3 of the original speed... :S yeah, so we got there, instead of 3 hours, SIX freaking hours!! oh well... we FINALLY got to the port and left and then ate something at this lanchonete place, and it was good, a change to crackers and cookies!! then we got home and i went to bed!! YAY!!! my bed!!!

that's it.. my trip in a nutshell!! hehe yeah, my fingers hurt, so i'll stop here...

luv ya'll

Back, again...
Hey, I'm back from the trip ... it was pretty cool, a new experience...

Day 1-
We left about 5 am and then got to the ferry about ... 5:45 i think, we boarded and then left about 6:30 we left, it was about three hours to the other port and we made good time, we saw the Millers and Nashes, we all went to the same island, then we got off the ferry (we had to back into to it so that we could go off frontways) and then drove about 30 km to the other ferry. The island is known for the buffalo, but i think i might have seen more scrawny, mangy, dogs on that strip of road than i saw buffalo... then were also scrawny horses, water buffalo, and, when we turned to go on the other asphalted road, then was a tree growing in the middle of the road, it was pretty funny. We got to the end of the road and waited for the ferry, there was a 20¢ bathroom and i played on the cell phone to pass the time while waiting for the ferry. Marcos, a seminary student, came with us, to show the way and all, and he told us about one time, this one guy was in a hurry to get off and his flip-flop got caught between the ramp-off and the ground and it ate through his foot. OW!! OH, on the way there we saw pineapple plantations, i guess it's the main crop... well, the ferry finally came up, but it was just a floating raft tied to a boat beside it... i played the ceel phone some more and listened to music and we got by in about 5 or 10 minutes, im not sure, didn't really pay attention that much... well, the pousada was about 2 streets over from the 2nd ferry dock so we got there fast, the Pousada Asa Branca, nao era pousada tipo motel, mas pousada tipo hotelzinho... so, we got there and had to walk across this plank bridge about
|---------------------------------this-------------------------| wide so that was funny... we ate lunch, then went to the beach, i saw more buffalo and cows and even some ducks... there were reefs at the beach, but they were CLAY reefs, so technically NOT reefs but it looked like then from far away. I didn't take the camera out of the car with me, but i should have... so, i see joseph walking back to the car and i, assuming he has the keys, follow him, but then i get there and he doesn't ... grr, so i go back about a km to get the keys to get the camera, but we just left after that and then got to the hotel (oh, i saw some pet pigs on the way back) and i bummed around watching tv and novelas *bleh*!! then we went to eat and got some batteries too, i got some gum instead of ice cream, :P ok, i'm getting tired of typing now, so i'll do day 2 and 3 tomorrow

Cya then...
