Colt's Christian Connection

Greetings! Thank you for viewing my web page. I hope that it will be a blessing to you and that you will visit it often. On this site, I intend to share with you the Word of God, and bring honor and glory to His name. Now let us get to what really matters, The Word of God. "What Does God Want With Me?" This is a question that many people ask at one time or another. Satan tries to get people to think that they are not important enough or they are not good enough for God to care anything about. We can tell fom a quick glance at the newspaper, that most people have fallen prey to the devil's lie. I am very thankful that this is not true. The God that I know, the God that we read about in the Bible more for us than you could possibly imagine. The Bible says in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." I do not care who you are or what you have done, Jesus Christ loves you. Do not fall for Satan's tricks. God wants to save every person and have them live with him in heaven forever. If you have not trusted in Jesus as your Savior, please to not wait. Read the verses listed below in "The Romans Road" to learn how. "Living With a Guilty Conscience" Friends, have you ever done something that afterwards, you were left with a load of guilt on your heart. I can only speak for myself, and I know that I have. The question here is, what do we do about it? We must first place ourselves into one of two cateragories. These two groups are saved and lost. There is no middle ground. There is no grey area here. There are those who have been washed in the blood of Jesus Christ and those who have not. Some of you may be saying to yourselves, "What does that have to do with guilt?" It has everything to do wth guilt, because the guilt of these two groups of people must be handled in two very distinct ways. First, let's look at what a lost, or unsaved person must do in order to remove their guilt. There is only ONE way for a sinner to lose his guilt, and that is for him to have his sins put under the blood of Jesus, HE MUST BE SAVED. The Bible says in John 8:34-36 that Jesus can make the sinner free. "Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." Our Lord tells us here that when HE frees someone they are free indeed. This includes guilt. When a person gets saved, the wall of sin that stood between them and God is destroyed by the BLOOD of Jesus Christ. Even though he or she may still feel guilty from time to time about sins committed before salvation, God will NEVER go back and look at their sins from the past life, because they have been eradicated. Let's take a look at Romans 4: 5-8. "But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin." We never have to feel guilty for our past life, because it is no more, but what about sins after salvation. The Bible is very clear about what must be done. Sin must be confessed and forsaken. Let's read (I John 1:9). "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Now, as you can see, we have absolutely no excuse for remaining in a state of guilt, because God has made a way for us to get beyond that. The next thing is too move on. Get your eyes off the sin you have confessed and get them on Jesus. Please take a look at the topics adressed on this site. I hope the Lord will bless you or help you in some way through it. God bless you all greatly!
