Aren't they colorful? It is so lovely when they dance as the spin round and round, maybe 20-30 or more of them! Each regalia (costume) is different and hand-made , usually by the dancer and/or his family.

Now, the ladies get their turn! They are no less colorful, but are very "refined". In all the dances, except the "Shawl Dance", they also dance more sedately and with great dignity. But are no less beautiful! Like the men, the women and their family and friends make their own regalia. The men and women both can start dancing, even at Pow Wows as early as 3 or 4 years old.

This is a very quiet lake of verdant beautiful in the very south of Arizona near the Mexican border. It is in the area of the Apaches and is also close to the Cochise Stronghold. This card could easily say, "May blessed Peace and Comfort be yours".
