4" Dreamcatcher
Dreamcatchers were used by many Native American tribes, especially the Plains tribes. They were hung over the home doorway, the bed inside, or on a baby's cradleboard. The web in the center was confusing to the bad dreams and they could not find their way through. But the good dreams knew their way through the center hole and entered to bring the dreamer pleasant dreams and peaceful sleep. My nephew, who had bad dreams as a child, will swear by his! This is the first one I made and is pretty simple. I will post more pictures soon. They come in sizes from about 4" to 18-19" and can be made in any colors. They are decorated with beads, feathers and charms, which can vary according to your tastes. Or you can let me design one for you. A simple, 4" one like this is $12.00. Others priced by size and decoration. Please e-mail me. |
