Starry Tradition(a.k.a. Ropey) is a eye candy GORGEOUS Golden Buckskin Gelding. Out of the proven sire "Steady Tradition" (Reing, WorkingCowHorse, Cutting)and an equally nice Show Mare "Near To Tears" (Western Pl). Ropey is a very talented, smart, and willing horse. He is uncomplicated and loves to be around you and work. Trained and finished Reining horse. Has a coming of light talent in Western Pleasure, Trail, Halter, Showmanship, Horsemanship and Would be a GREAT Working CowHorse prospect. Loves to cut, and a complete Natural at following and then running his hardest down the rail and cutting them off. Loves the trails-sure footed and fun.

Latest NRHA Show: "August 23,2003" NRHA BGRHA Show in Murfressboro, TN-- Champion in Green Reiner 1 & 3rd in Green Reiner 2 ............ Last show was Middle TN Showdown Series: "October 11th, 2003" 1st in Stock horse Halter, 2nd Showmanship, 2nd Western Horsemanship, 1st Trail, 1st Western Riding, 1st Yth Western Pl, 1st Open Western Pl--Overall Yth Western Highpoint.

Other wins that I would like to mention was: State Horse Champion 3 years in a row ('01,'02,03)in classes like Western Pleasure 14.2 under,Halter,Reining and placings in classes such as Hunter US and Trail--as well as 2002 Southern Regional Championships 5th Place in Reining (would have gone for a 1st place win for 2003 Regional show, but was unable to attend due to trailer problem)....and Many other Wins and Placings!
