We all seem to handle 15-20mph winds when they come straight down the runway but, when they are gusting and are crosswinds we seem to go home with some broken planes. That's what we had today. Broken firewalls, bent landing gears, broken props but, nothing that couldn't easily be repaired.

I'm beginning to take a lot of pride in our new pilots (yes myself included) Many of them don't realize that they are flying in less than ideal conditions and kicking themselves in the butt because they didn't make a perfect landing.......... come on guys! Lets get real! All of you are overcoming the odds and doing a great job.

Cory, don't worry about landing in the tree! I don't think it was damaged then. When Jeff shook it out and it hit the ground that's when the damage occurred......;O)

I'll say it one more time: "in this hobby, if you fly you'll crash" that's part of it ,so learn to live with it. (Billy Taylor-----re-read that ;O)
