Camping
There is going to be a camping trip on Friday the 21st till Saturday the 22nd.

Directions:
Take Canyon Blv West out of Boulder. For those of you who don’t live in boulder, highway 36 (that turns into 28th street when it reaches boulder) intersects with Canyon street right around Pearl.

After 6 miles take a left onto Magnolia Road. (Magnolia road has some very steep parts and very abrupt turns, if your car is pretty weak or has bad breaks I would recommend finding another ride or another car). Magnolia turns into a dirt road after a while.

After 6.7 miles take a left onto county road 68. This turns into a single lane road after 2 miles.

After 3 miles take a right at the “Gate ahead turn around here” sign. (Watch where you drive in this area because there are some pretty big rocks that come out of the ground.) Park anywhere in the parking area here or along the road that continues, then listen/look for people camping.

The entire trip is 15 miles and takes roughly ½ hour from 28th and Canyon.

Briefer Driving Instructions:
West on Canyon
Left on Magnolia
Left on County Road 68
Right at “Gate ahead turn around here” sign

This area is just a forest area opened up for public camping. That means that there are no outhouses (that we saw), water-wells, water-fountains, or trashcans. Please bring whatever you will need accordingly (lots of water/trashbags etc…). Also bring your own tents (or arrange your spot in someone else’s tent), sleeping bags, flashlights, camping chairs (folding chairs), beer, food, and anything else your going to need. If you have extra of something (especially things like camping chairs I would encourage you to bring them). Also there is deadwood around the ground in this area, but bringing firewood could also be helpful.

Camping is all about the more the merrier, please invite whoever you would like.

That’s about it, if you have any other questions give me a call at 720-565-3384.
