Children's Miracle Network

Children's Miracle Network is Phi Mu's primary philanthropy focus. Some 160 children's hospitals nationwide benefit from collegiate and alumnae chapter fund-raising events yearly. All monies raised stay in the local community for patient care, new equipment and research into children's diseases, illnesses, and injuries. Since 1986, Phi Mus have raised almost $4 million. Our fund-raising goal is $500,000 each calendar year.

National Philanthropy Day

In 1998, Phi Mu was proud to be the first NPC group to establish National Philanthropy Day during the month of October. Annually, Phi Mus gather to share their skills and energies to make the world a better place by dedicating themselves to "hands on" community service. Phi Mus everywhere can be proud of the part their Fraternity plays in continuing the proud tradition of giving, caring and sharing.

Our Philanthropic Events

Carnation Sale

Every year for Valentine's Day, Kappa Nu has a carnation sale. Carnations are sold to students all over campus and the proceeds go to benefit CMN.

All-Sing

Each year, the greek organizations on Lambuth's campus (Alpha Gamma Delta, Alpha Omicron Pi, Kappa Alpha, Kappa Sigma, and Sigma Phi Epsilon) come together for a day of competition in singing and dancing. The proceeds from the event go to the organizations' philanthropies.

Womanless Beauty Revue

Each year, Phi Mu holds a "Womanless Beauty Revue" at Lambuth. Numerous males, from many campus organizations are asked to participate in a beauty constest. They dress up as a female beauty contestant. It is always an interesting, entertaining, and fun-filled evening. The admission collected goes to CMN.

"Men of Lambuth" Calander

This past fall, Kappa Nu put together and sold a "Men of Lambuth" Calander to support CMN. This calander featured men from many other Lambuth campus organizations such as: Sigma Phi Epsilon, Kappa Alpha Order, Kappa Sigma, Religious Life, Basketball Team, Soccer Team, Baseball Team, Football Team, and the Black Student Union. The calander raised over $2000 for CMN!
