BLUE AND GOLD CRAFTS What You Need: International Coffee tins, clean and dry/ Yellow Construction Paper/ Blue Construction Paper/ Scotch tape/ Small Cub Scout stickers (check your local Scout store or catalog), optional/ Scissors/ Ruler/ Marker or Pen (to write Den name), optional/ Nuts or small candies How To Make It: Measure the height and the diameter of the tin. Cut a piece of yellow or blue construction paper (depending on the style chosen). Tape in place. Cut a piece of the opposite color of construction paper the length of the first piece of paper. The width could be anything from 1/2" less than the first cut to only about an inch wide. See photo for ideas. Tape in place. Apply one Cub Scout sticker to the tin, if desired, or write the Den's Name on the tin. Fill with nuts or candy. Create as many tins as needed to complete your table setting. The tins hold quite a bit, so you only need to make one for every 2 people at your table. Place on the Blue and Gold Banquet table between two of the place settings. Tips You may wish to save the (clean) lids. Decorate the tin, fill with nuts or candy, and place the lid on for easy transport to your Blue & Gold Banquet.  What You Need: Baby food jars, clean and dry/ 1/4" wide Yellow Ribbon/ 1/4" or 1/8" wide Blue Ribbon/ Small Cub Scout stickers (check your local Scout store or catalog)/ Scissors/ Ruler/ Nuts or small candies How To Make It: Cut a piece of ribbon about 20" in length out of both the blue and the yellow. Tie a knot around the threads of the jar using both ribbons (at the same time). Tie a bow using both of the ribbons. If desired, separate the ribbons to show the colors better. Apply one Cub Scout sticker to the jar. Fill with nuts or candy. Create as many jars as needed to complete your table setting. Place on the Blue and Gold Banquet table at each of the place settings. Tips You may wish to save the (clean) baby food jar lids. Decorate the jar, fill with nuts or candy, and place the lid on for easy transport to your Blue & Gold Banquet.
