Candle magick is a favorite and effective form of spell craft.Magick is energy that can be created by anyone.You do not have to hold any particular religius beliefs to do magick. It is a practice not a religion. Anyone can create magick, if the desire is great.

Candle magick in my experience is very powerful.All of your intent and engery is focused by concertrating on the candle.Candle Magick can be as powerful as any other spell. Do your spells always with the best of intentions, and only when needed. "Even a Candle leaves a shadow" You must be very careful with each and every spell you do as to intention and always consider what the outcome of your spell may cause to happen.

So what is it you want to achieve?

Consider your intentions and what you want to achieve. Remember trying to manipulate othahs against their wills would be considered "black magick".

When is the appropriate time to work a spell?

A spell can be worked at any time. You may want to take into consideration the season,moon phase, day of week and even the hour. Spells tend to work best when your desire is strongest. Keeping in mind, there is much power on the night of a full moon.

Anointing your candle.

After choosing the right candle for your spell, it's time to anoint or dress your candle with an appropriate oil. There are many oils available but i like using my favorite which happens to be cinnamon. Dab a bit on ur finger tips and rub it on your candle starting from the top to the middle, then the bottom to the middle. You can inscribe words or symbols representing your intent on your candle.

Let The Magick Begin

Once your candle is ready, visualize your intent and light your candle.All of your energy should be focused on the flame and your intent. You may want to chant, you may allow yourself to become hypnotized and enter a light trance. Let your candle burn itself out. If its not possible, resume your spell the next day, but i feel its better to let the candle burn itself out. If time is limited consider using shorter candles or votives instead of tapers.
