ACTIVITIESMelees until you Drop!: Thats right, this will be a WAR practice which means fighting, fighting and oh yes did we mention fighting!What kind Fighting did you say?: There will be Heavy Weapons, Rapier and Youth Combat. Armor inspections will begin on the field at 9 a.m., with fighting to ensue soon thereafter.

SITEThe site for the Central Cohort War Practice will be at Woodmen of the World Camp ,Royal, Alabama.Cabin space is limited to First Come, First Serve. Please reserve to insure availability. Tenting is unlimited. No pets allowed except service animals. Registration Deadline is June 3rd. The event site opens at 5 p.m. Central time on Friday and closes at 11 a.m. on Sunday. PLEASE NOTE the site is Discreetly Wet
Proof of membership is required. Non-members add $3.00 to the event fee. Also per Meridian Kingdom Law, no family shall pay a site fee higher than three (3) adult member prices for admission to an event as long as the children are 15 years of age or younger and they are all members. Proof of membership, immediate family relations, and age may be required. Please make checks for reservations payable to "SCA, Inc. Shire of Loch Cairn." Reservations may be sent to Ben Neal (THL Corwin Giollapadhreag ),703 S Jefferson Street Winchester, Tn 37398 The only reservation is a paid reservation! No e-mail or phone reservations will be accepted. NOTE Checks will be accepted at the door There will be a 50.00 Service fee on all returned checks.

Camp Entrance is on the right.From the South-Find your best way to I-65 North. Catch AL 79 in Birmingham. From AL 79 take Co. Rd 26 East. Go 4 miles, cross river bridge, turn left onto CO.Rd 34, go 1 mile the Camp entrance is on the left.
