- Pretend Dance (dress up like your favorite movie start, music artist, etc.)
- Talent Show
- Dinner
- Water Ballon fight
- Game night (board games, etc..)
- Youth v.s. Old People Olympics (do games like tug-a-war,basketball,capture the flag, etc.. with the adults)
- Have a treasure hunt (get clues from different places leading from one place to another..Example-"You can find me in the hall praying." You go to the hall way and find a statue of a person prayering.)
- Play Name that toon (get someone on piano and play a little and try to guess the tune).
- Learn how to direct music
- Do some sorts of crafts
- Bake cookies or something of that sort
- Make/Set-up a game for the primary to play (example-help hide Easter eggs)
- Watch a movie and have popcorn
- Throw around water balloons from side to side tring to catch them in a towel (have a partners on each side)
- Have a fun game of volleyball
- Play capture the flag (each team trying to get each others flags without getting tagged)
- Have a carnival! Set up stations with games to win prizes.
- Have a good game of tag or hide-and-go seek
- Do Karoke (something that could be very touching or very halarious!)
- Have a get to know each other night...get everyone to bring in pictures and tell about themselves and their families.
- Have the young men teach the young women something (like playing sports) and have the young women teach the young men something (like cooking).
- Have each youth tell a little bit about a certain prophet. Make sure you use every prophet. (This can help you get to know the prophets better).
- Make a list of qualities and let each youth pick the one's they want in their husband or wife...then pair them up and see which ones are alike. (That's the fun part!)
- Memorize the Articles of Faith: Start off by giving someone (youth) an article of faith to memorize when they have memorized it the will go to the kitchen to receive a prize like ice cream, chips, etc. The bigger the number of article, the bigger the prize is! Try to have them all done by the end of the night!
