A Poem By Keri!
I never thought there would be an end
Now I have to say goodbye to my best friends
Ya'll were there to pick me up or put me in place
We were like a family in every way
Even in hard times, new coaches, and the everlasting drama
Of boyfriends, our other friends, and she took my spot
But you could always find us in tears of laughter
Whether it be at each other freaking out about the mouse
the other teams players, Coach Justice's country screaming,
Coach Kelly's lame jokes, all the falls during practice,
And singing on the street corner with the brothers.
We always had a good time no matter where we were
From the scary bus rides with Larry
To the track with our favorite 220's and infamous frogs that we hate!
Even in a place called Grundy Co. with nothing to do but play catch phrase
And in the weight room when we all broke out in the love slide dance
What else were we supposed to be doing in there?
We always found time to talk
about the guys team or how hot Travis was looking
And even to Kirk on the bench when he was watching Spillers
I will never forget any of ya'll
From the original family of four, to the girl obsessed with time
To the seniors who started together and ended together
To the girl who always made sure I had pants on,
TO the 100% shooter, and to the very best Shelida and Gina!
Thanks for all the memories
