PLEASE HELP!!
HI, my name is Janice and my mother, Irene, is 74 years old and is deep in credit card debt. Until recently I had no idea she was in debt this much and continuing to buy on credit. Since finding this out I have persuaded her to let me help with her finances and she has agreed to stop using the credit cards. I work part-time and babysit my grand-children while my daughter finishes her college degree. At this time I cannot finiancially help my mother as I would like to. I am an only child (adopted) and have only one daughter, my adopted father is deceased and with such a small family it is impossible to help financially. I am pleading to the public to help us in any monitary way possible. She is in debt over $40,000.00. She recently was diagnosed with dementia and I am sure this has contributed to her financial hardship. She has always been head strong and refused to let anyone know she was financially in trouble. She has worked hard all her life, and in January had to quit working as a sitter due to health problems. Our family suffered many hardships during my life, but somehow survived. I have set this web site up hoping there are a few good people who are willing and financially able to help us. Please help. Thank you and God Bless You!
