We breed
only a few litters a year because we
are a small kennel. We plan to stay
small because we want
every puppy to have the same loving
beginning. You may see our breeding
stock by clicking on the link near the bottom
of this page. Our Moms get the
best prenatal care we can give. She
lives in the house as a pampered guest
and gets lots of attention, cuddling, her
own special seat on the couch, and plenty
of playful exercise.
As the
pups grow, we celebrate every
milestone.....opening
eyes, the first teeth, the first
bark or growl, and those first wobbly
steps. In a short time there are
"puppies everywhere" and we get lots
of laughs as we watch
them learn about the world.
Each puppy
receives worming medication
at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks
and gets their first puppy shot
at 6 weeks. Documentation of
these medications are given to adoptive
parents, along with AKC registrations
papers, and a Purina Puppy
Chow Puppy Starter kit. The kit contains
all the information you need to
get started right with your new pup, as well
as a sample of Puppy Chow and a coupon for
a free bag of food.
We like our
adoptive parents to be prepared
to take care of a new
puppy and we are available by email
or telephone to answer any questions
that may come up. Rarely, a pup
and adoptive family don't work out
well together. When this happens,
we like our pups to come back to us so that
we can find a new home for it. We don't
want any of our pups to ever find its way to
a shelter.
Thank you
for visiting Hardee's Cocker
Spaniels. Please
and come back and visit again!

.....our computer crashed at the same time the website went down. If
you have emailed us in the last week and have not gotten a response, please
understand that we lost over 90 messages that we were unable to view. Please

Another Litter On The Way! As you may know, we
bred Tansy and Little Red a few weeks back. I'm not 100% sure yet,
but it sure is looking like we're expecting puppies again!!!! OK, here's
fair warning.....if there are chocolate puppies I will be keeping one or
two female chocolate puppies. Sorry, I'm know many of your are dying
to have chocolate females, but I feel by keeping them, I'll be able to increase
our chances of having chocolate pups in the future. See how nice I
am? Always thinking of my adoptive parents <grin>
