The GNAUA's primary focus is on youth fastpitch. We strive to be a positive role model for young players and for
the community at large.
Our Mission
(A) To develop and maintain an adequate membership consisting of
capable softball umpires who will be available to umpire games at all levels.
(B) To foster a high standard of ethics for umpires.
(C) To encourage fair play and sportsmanship among players and coaches.
(D) To develop and maintain a better understanding among umpires,
related administrators, players, and the public.
(E) To institute such educational measures as may be required for the
attainment of the above stated purposes.
(F) To use the booking office system to assign umpires through an
assigning officer elected by the Association as prescribed in the by-laws.
