(after reading this text, please scroll down to photos) The wall contractor is scheduled to be done on 05-14-2003 (Wednesday). The contractor has 1 more row of block to complete at the top of the wall. Then he adds the cap blocks from end to end of the wall. He then fills in behind the wall and rough grades the terrace surface to level, ready for grass/sod/pavers/mulch. Next step is to sod the 80 ft x 16 ft center portion of the terrace. Then slope the stone, shrubs, mulch wall on down to the main house level. Then build the set of steps up to the terrace. Finally, use any remaining dirt to make mounds at the top of the wall. The two curved ends of the terrace will need "pavers", bricks, etc. The Edith will work with the landscaper. Probably more steps, but this is the beginning. The fence installer will start 05-15 putting the fence one foot behind the top of the wall. Then the upper mounding must be landscaped and planted with grass/sod and shrubs/trees etc. The wall contractor is secheduled to be done on 05-14.
