Here is a screen of me casting AOE in the barrows. You can determine radius by this. Awesome damage to the yellows at end of radius. The original mobs damage was out of the ss but it was around 150. The goblin was green. All three undead were yellow.

A typical fight vs green mobs. Man that 145 damage from the base bolt is rocking. Whew, almost got me thought, good thing I had my stick ready.
The AWESOME damage sheild at work on yellow mobs. Had they hit me 147 more times I could have killed all 3 at once. By far the most effective spell in the game; gets me into many a group.
