Some of the qualifications include strong commitment to speech and dramatic arts education, ability to inspire creativity, and willingness to help colleagues and THSSDL members. Billy Pullen - 1987 2001 THSSDL Scholarship Winners The Tennessee High School Speech and Drama League was able to offer very generous scholarships to deserving students across the state for achievement in speech and acting events during high school. At the award presentation at the end of THSSDL State 2001, two students walked away with $500 after being selected by a prestigious committee made up of speech and acting coaches from across the state.
