Greetings friends and family in the Diasporic community, This is Erik The Orchestra letting you know about recent Diasporic developments. First, as you might already know, Diasporic is currently on tour. Chris and I are playing in Austin tonight (Tuesday June 1, 2004) at Ruta Maya from 8PM to 10PM as we cohost Freeverse Song (aka Poetry Kareoke, Silence Anonymous). We would love to see as many of our friends/family/fans out there as possible. Freeverse Song is outside on a covered porch with plenty of available (and legal) parking since Ruta Maya shares a parking lot with Clear Channel (booooo corporate radio). Ruta Maya is located on South Congress just north of Ben White/Hw71. It is on the east side of South Congress, up the hill right behind Expose. Look for the well-lit water tower, you can't miss it. Second, Chris and I also have a live album for sale/trade. The CD is 8 tracks long, all original, recorded live at the Hideout last month, has a running time of about 40 minutes, and contains songs like Baby, Echos, Babylon, and other good stuff. If you would like a copy for five dollars or trade just reply to this e-mail or visit Third, we have a new web site: It is still under construction, but it should be up and running within the week. Fourth, Diasporic will be in Fort Worth on Friday, June 4 to support Unified Feel Theory at Aardvark on 2905 W. Berry St. We would love to see friends in the DFW out there, too. Finally, after Fort Worth, Chris and I are headed to the West Coast. If you know any cool places to play or hang out, we would love to hear about them. Much love to all of the Diasporic tribe, Erik The Orchestra Teixeira Chris The Future Edwards
