The Nisa: Lyrics from The Moods of Innocence

"Sister Sophia"

As we walked in the room was dark. She lit a candle and some incense. We were here, there we were, we just sat there stoned.

One by one she read our palms and told our stories, then and now; Who was born in a thunderstorm? I slowly raise my hand.

What are we gonna do, to make up for the things we’ve done? What are we gonna prove, by messing with what we don’t know?

And we hear another voice, the table’s moving our eyes wide open. It says he’s here from the other side and he says he’s heard of me... he says he’s heard of me.

What are we gonna do, to make up for the things we’ve done. What are we gonna prove, by messing with what we don’t know.

...As we left, she put her hand on my shoulder and said "There’s something on your mind." I open up I ask "Is this meant to be?"

"Is this meant to be?"
"Is this meant to be?"
