Have you ever been stranded and lost in the woods? Maybe you were out for a drive and your car stopped........
Late, late at night, when there is hardly any light cast down from the moon and
the shadows fall long across the forrest floor.
You climb out of the car in frustration and decide that you will have to walk for help.
You look around. Nothing but the dark forrest around you and this deserted road.
You make your way slowly across the dried up leaves.....trying to find your way safely in the darkness....telling yourself that there is nothing to be afraid of.....
...The wind shrieks through the branches of the trees surrounding you as the hootowl calls out a warning from high above your head....
...Your heart is beating so fast that you feel like it might jump out of your chest at any moment! With every cautious step that you take you are sure that you can hear the restless stirrings of some unknown forrest creature comming up behind you----just one step behind waiting for just that right moment to reach out and TOUCH you ......in a blind panic you freeze in your tracks, trying to get your breathing under control you turn and look over your shoulder....cringing...dreading what horror you might find there, and you see....
...nothing more than the dark path that you have been walking down...just the wind blowing in the dark. You decide to push forward. Certain that you don't want to spend the night in the woods...you turn forward and pick up your slow pace. Up ahead in the distance, on a little hill, you see something......
.....Something..a house maybe? You try to walk quietly as you draw ever nearer...
...You look again. As your vision clears, you see a castle!! Excited, you resume your walk knowing that safety is close at hand! But, the closer you get to the castle, the more you begin to see more clearly just what this castle really looks like......
.....Bathed in an erie red glow, the castle walls themselves seem to be covered in a red substance...blood? Light? Even the moon that was your salvation just a short time ago now seems to be dripping that same erie red glow..
You wonder to yourself if the real danger lies here out in the woodlands, or there within those red, red walls....
