Congrats to the 19 New Brothers of the Psi Phi Chapter of Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity, Inc. On April 7, 2004, 19 Extravagent Men and Women known as the 19 Now & Laters became Brothers of our chapter. We, the older members would like to take the time out to say that, WE LOVE YOU ALL and we look forward to doing many hours of SERVICE with you all. And never forget the principles of LEADERSHIP, FRIENDSHIP, and SERVICE.
Welcome to the website of Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity, Inc., on the campus of Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN! We are a National Service Fraternity that is very dedicated to serving the campus, community, nation, and members through a variety of service projects that touch the lives of young and old alike. Through serving, Alpha Phi Omega members gain leadership skills which employers find valuable. Through our common bond, we form friendships that last a lifetime.
APO is about SERVICE; Service to our University, Service to our Community, Service to our Nation, and Service to our Fraternity. Through the years APO has grown to over 700 chapters across the world and nearly 350,000 brothers have been initated into the Brotherhood of this extravagent organization.
Why APO? In this changing world out there, each student needs more and more skills to survive in the world. Each citizen needs practiced skills in leading, serving, and getting along with others to have a high quality of life. Through a dedication to others we become more confident in ourselves and our skills. Encouraged to take up active leadership roles in our chapter, section, and region we learn to lead effectively and wisely. And through our fellowship activities we learn how to get along with our fellow man in the ever-changing social environment.
Alpha Phi Omega is dedicated to developing America's college students into tomorrow's citizens and serving all mankind.
