South Sea shell pearls are made from the same oyster that makes the Tahitian pearls: the black lip oyster. The same nachre is used by man to make the pearls more affordable. The Bali orchid has a bail of small pearls and can be removed so the pearl necklace can be worn either with or without the Bali orchid. |
