The Capitol Theatre was located on Main Street in Oneida, Tennessee. The building no longer exist. I have many fond memories of going to the "movies" when I was growing up in the 1950's and 60's. It was a special treat for a "country boy" from the West Robbins Community of south Scott County to go to the big city of Oneida and see a movie! If anyone has a photograph of the old theatre and would like to share it with me I would greatly appreciate it. I don't know what year this movie ticket was issued but it must date way back since it only cost 30 cents!
Those were the days!
