Our Community has lost many citizens in death this spring.  This week has been no exception.

J.H. Shorty Denton passed away Monday night after a long battle following heart surgery.  He had been moved to Texas County Hospital in Houston after he seemed to be improving.  Our sympathy and love are extended to each member of his family.
