4 Seized U-Haul Dogs Available for Adoption!

A couple of weeks ago 140 dogs were seized from a U-Haul van in Fayette County because the driver was transporting them in an illegal manner. The dogs were cared for by the American Humane Association, and they are now ready for adoption. Some dogs were sent to local shelters and some were sent to shelters out of state. FCAR got 4 wonderful little dogs, and we can’t wait to find forever homes for them.
Our new rescues are:
Alise : A 2 year old red female Jack Russell Terrier mix. She is very high energy and loves to play with toys and people.
Huggy Bear: A 6 year old black and tan male Chihuahua mix. He is just adorable and loves to be held.
Beauford: A 2 year old white male poodle mix. He is very playful and happy and gives great kisses.
Freedom: A 3 year old white male poodle mix. He is very sweet and loves to be with people.
They have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, and are up to date on shots. A completed application must be submitted if you are interested in adoption, and you can find one on our website. If you would like to meet any of our dogs, you must make an appointment first. All dogs require a fenced in yard and a vet reference if applicable. If you decide one of those dogs isn’t your perfect match, remember we have a lot of other ones for you to meet!

Kroger Fundraising Gift Cards
FCAR earns 5% on card “reloads”! ! Gift cards can be used for
groceries, fuel, and prescriptions. Cards can be reloaded at the
register (PRIOR to paying for groceries). Cards can be reloaded
using cash, check, debit or credit card. Gift cards can be reloaded
for $5-$500. Cards are $5, there is $5 already on the cards. Every
