To give you some info on my family, I have a lovely and understanding wife of nearly 10 years. Her name is Melissa. We have a 5 year old daughter named Caitlin and she is loves to ride. We also have a 1 year old blonde cocker spaniel that is very loving, but dumb as a stump. I think our black cocker was much smarter - well, smarter than me that is. :)
Melissa has been riding for about a year now. She has taken the MSF "beginner's course" and
started riding the Rebel last year, then progressed up to the PC800. Once on the PC, she
found it too tall, wide and heavy for her. Thus the purchase of the Shadow in December of 1998.
Melissa had her back surgery during the Winter of 1999, but recovered nicely. After getting back into the flow of things with the Shadow, she went back to the PC800 without a problem.
Our daughter Caitlin loves the Gold Wing. She is equipped with all the riding gear and even has her
own headset installed in her helmet. Talk about having it nice! I love to spoil her, but she
has yet to act spoiled. We also like to camp as a family, but we never seem to find the time
to get our tent trailer out much. Maybe this year....
It looks like riding for the near future will be limited. With all of the things going on, we will be just
too busy to find time to "run away". Hopefully, we should still be able to see some old friends
and make new ones.
Again, thanks for dropping in. Maybe some day we can meet up on the road somewhere and share
some greetings.
